1- Start “\Server.exe”, Don’t Close it.
2- Start “\Launcher.exe”.
3- Use Random User/Pass, Then click “Register”.
4- Change Edition to “Edge Of Darkness”
5- Start Game

– Turn Off your AntiVirus and Block the game’s exe in your firewall to prevent the game from
trying to go online ..

Right, so I’ve downloaded the Mega file, converted it into .txt since it’s .bat Batch files are not some crazy hacker magic, and yeah everything is legit regarding that file, also if somebody is still scared of downloading it have a look at the entire content yourself here in text form (marked as spoiler to keep comments clean):

these .bat files are just .txt files that you can execute, they are most commonly used by gamers for making minecraft servers, they ofcourse always have the potentital of being dangerous so I urge everyone to learn this, it’s super basic and essential so people don’t go bat shit crazy (pun intended) every time they see a string of basic code.

this is a single player only version of tarkov. No online features or playing with friends. that is not planned at all in the future either.

i forgot…. first find game folder right click and properties then check the read only box that will fix that error message and then do the admin thing taht fixes another error

For everyone having error problems….first find the game folder then properties and check the read only box that will fix the exception Message…after that you need to run “RunMeAsAdmin.bat” as admin and then you are good to go run server and launcher and play the game 🙂

So here is the solution. Put this file in the main game file directory and run it as administrator!

People are illiterate, thanks for the file btw, I opened it and read it, it’s legit, the game works. It’s just a registry editing batch, not voodoo, but oh well I’m gonna go enjoy my game now. Thanks again.

I ran this runadmin.bat, then the server as admin and finally the launcher as admin and it keeps telling me to buy the game
Not sure what good updating this game is going to do seeing how the latest SPT-AKI 2.20 and 2.2.1 both ONLY work with game version 0.12.12.15.16584 (31 Jan 2022)…..
