How To Install The Game
1) Download the game using a Torrent program or Direct program
2) Extract the game to your preferred location with WinRar or 7-Zip
3) Wait for the extraction to end
4) No need to install the game, just start with the LAUNCHER of the game as administrator

1) Download UWP-Fix

The game doesn’t work no matter what you do.
Anyone who wants to test and try to start the game without any error message, do these steps:
1- Activate windows developer mode (WIN + I>update and security>developer mode>enable developer mode)
2-download the xbox app from the microsoft store
3- open the xbox app and install the addons it asks for you.
4- Run the .bat file from the game folder.
5-open the xbox app and go to the AOE IV, make a shortcut to your desktop.
6- Two clicks on the app on the shortcut.
To resolve the error ”Microsoft game runtime is not correctly installed” do this:
Go to the start menu and search for windows powershell > open and paste the following command:
start ms-windows-store://pdp/productid=9mwpm2cqnlhn
and click enter and download gaming services from the store.
done all the steps but cannot open it!!
cr. win 10 has deactivated windows store, isnt there any other way to get the runtime?
i got genuine win 10 (checked activation settings) but it just opens the store without letting me decide whether to DL something

Quem quiser testar e tentar iniciar o jogo sem nenhuma mensagem de erro faça esses passos:
1- Ative o modo desenvolvedor do windows (WIN + I>atualização e segurança> modo desenvolvedor> habilite o modo desenvolvedor)

3- abra o app do xbox e instale os addons que ele pedir para você.

I’m using cooked Windows 10 version too, the Store is not deactivated. Open a powershell, paste “start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQLHN” (without the quotes) and Microsoft store should open up and prompt you to install Gaming Services, other games using this same method (ex: Sea of Thieves, Project Winter) already indicates that you need a stock version of Windows 10, so if you have a custom version/debloated, this already tells you why you are having this issue, custom versions or Lite versions of windows will have these xbox and related features removed.

Please try to follow the video tutorial, you might not have the xbox app installed. Other than that everything is working fine as per testing.

If you mean you have a file corrupted error in your torrent program its not related to the files in the torrent, its only happening on your side
