How to Setup and Run the Game

At least Windows 10 x64 version 1909 or later with Microsoft Store, Xbox, Xbox Gaming Services installed. This is required and the game will not work if you have a stripped down OS. The game has been tested on an original untouched version of Windows.

1) Launch Installers\install EasyAntiCheat.bat, which is in the folder with the game. (performed once)
2) Run the game through SeaOfThieves.exe
3) In-game ->  Joining : We accept an invitation from a friend.
   Hosting : Play -> Adventures -> We select the ship -> By invitation -> Confirm and Assemble a Team -> eleven -> We invite friends and look forward to connecting them.
4) Play & Enjoy !

  • You can play on official servers.

General Notes:

– Make sure you have Spacewar installed. Windows Key + R and type (steam://install/480).
– It is recommended to turn off your antivirus as some files get detected as false positive.

How to install Sea of Thieves – Guided Instruction

  1. Download full game and AiO update.
  2. Extract the full game.
  3. Extract the AiO update and install it.
  4. Run SoT.bat as admin in game folder.
  5. Done! Press windows key and search for Sea of Thieves.

How to update Sea of Thieves from X to Y – Guided Instruction

  1. Download the update-only files you need (there is no update from 2.103.908.2, use AiO update@).
  2. Extract the downloaded archive.
  3. Install it and run SoT.bat as admin in game folder.
  4. Done! Press windows key and search for Sea of Thieves.

How to uninstall Sea of Thieves – Guided Instruction

  1. Download the uninstall.bat
  2. Put this file in folder that contains your game folder – SeaofThieves (for example if SoT is in c:/games/SeaofThieves, you will have to put it in c:/games)
  3. Now just start it as admin.
  4. Done! Game is deleted

What Sea of Thieves version do I have?

  1. Go to your game folder and open AppxManifest.xml with notepad.
  2. In line 4 is a Version=”x.xxx.xxxx.x”.
  3. That is your Sea of Thieves version.

What to do if you get division by zero error?

  • Make sure you are using correct update.
  • AiO is for Direct download and torrent version, if you updated before please use update-only files.
  • Try to force recheck torrent (to downgrade or fix corrupted files), you can use it on game downloaded other ways as well (direct download, different site) – it will check files and redownload only what it needs.

aio is not corrupt. you need to use 7z to extract it
the names of 3 files:
AiO SoT 2.104.2646.2.7z.001
AiO SoT 2.104.2646.2.7z.002
AiO SoT 2.104.2646.2.7z.003
like this then use 7z to extract only 001 file then it will extract the next file automatically

but i have problem with division by zero when run update.exe

I using method “Update From X to Y” coz i already have the 2.104.656.2 So i just download the update-only files & update.bat
After successfully updated, i try to launch the game. But i got error messages appear.
How do i resolve? Can i rolled back into update 2.104.656 instead???

If you had 2.104.2646.2 then you need to download it from 1st link:
View (thenewscasts.com)
and choose update for your version

AiO is All updates in One and works only for version from torrent or direct download (2.103.908.2)

If your files are corrupted by any chance you will have to fix it with torrent and download latest AiO update

I don’t have those files for old update, so you need to force recheck torrent to downgrade and update using AiO or get it from someone else for who it’s working 😉

seems like a corrupted files or you are using wrong update
check again and make sure that you are using SoT 2.104.656.2 to 2.104.2646.2 update
if you are then game files are corrupted and you will need to force recheck torrent and use AiO update instead

Okay.
-I downloaded the full game (version 2.103.908.2)

-I downloaded all the updates (-SoT 2.103.908.2 to 2.104.656.2 update
-SoT 2.104.656.2 to 2.104.2646.2 update
-SoT 2.104.2646.2 to 2.104.7965.2 update)
-I unpacked the game and all the updates

-For the first update (SoT 2.103.908.2 to 2.104.656.2 update), there is no exe file but you have to copy the files to the main directory of the game and it overwrote a few files

-After I did this I started installing a second update (SoT 2.104.656.2 to 2.104.2646.2 update), there is already an exe installation file and three bin files.

I opened the installer (SoT 2.104.656.2 to 2.104.2646.2 update.exe)
I browse the “installation path” on the installer.
And this was written out by the program “Valid version detected! Ready to Patch!” So I pressed the start button.
When the program almost finished installing it wrote this error which many people have written before me “Division by zero error”

Yet I downloaded the game from Torrent fresh yesterday
from this link: https://1cloudfile.com/tj

I hope the problem is solved. It would be nice to play this game

I finally managed to resolve the update. And for that i can see that another update came out today so i haven’t been able to play yet.
But i have already seen that it is uploaded so i will download it as well.
So i just want to thank you for the work you put in that there are updates to the site almost immediately. <3

You guys got HWID banned, reinstalling windows is 1st step to fix it 😉

So I didn’t know about this website before so I download like the Skidrow version of Sea of Thieves and tried using your update to update the game, can I do that? Because it failed for me or I have to download the whole game again from here

No idea, depends what they uploaded, they might have had old steam version or different version than we do or even viruses.
You can try, but we don’t recommend that.
